Chapter 7

The great Apostle Paul said in Eph. 6:12,

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

James said in James 4:7-10,

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.   Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.   Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.   Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."

I have been sharing with you the spiritual forces of wickedness that has been plaguing our country during the reign of our last four presidential administrations. We are living in a set time that has been predicted in the Bible to come about in the last days. This is not the first set time to ever occur. Paul said in Gal 4:4,

"But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,   to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons."

The Kingdom of God through out the world, and especially here in the US, has majored in teaching the fundamentals of salvation and neglected teaching Christians how to become mature sons and daughters of the Lord. As a result the Church that Jesus died for is weak and unskilled in doing spiritual warfare. Since the Charismatic move in the late 1960's and 70's this is changing but there are still too many Christians who are babes in Christ when they should be mature sons of God by now.

Paul said in Hebrews 6:1-3,

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit."

The Church has majored in creating a sin consciousness in their members. Every prayer talks about our sins and unforgiven sins. Very little teaching has been on the fact that we are righteous because Jesus was righteous. We have taught that we are just sinners save by grace. That is another gospel than the gospel Paul taught. Paul said in Rom. 3:21-22, (NIV)

"But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe."

This life in Christ Jesus does not depend on your ability to live righteous before God because that was impossible to do before Jesus paid the price for our sins. All of our self-righteousness fell far short of the righteousness of God. We have been given the righteousness of God because of our faith in what He has said to us. Even as our father in the faith, Abraham found out when he obeyed God. Paul said in Rom. 4:18-20,

"Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarahs womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform
And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness."

We are the seed of Abraham and therefore when we believe in Jesus Christ and confess Him with our mouth, we are born again and His righteousness is imputed to us as a free gift from His Father!

For those of you who need to clearly understand the rationality of something before you can believe it, here is what Paul said concerning the free gift of righteousness from God. Rom. 5:17-19,

"For if by one man's offence death reigned by one (Adam); much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one (Adam) judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (Jesus) the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."

Because we are a new creation in Christ Jesus when we are born again, it is the most natural thing for the life of God to flow through us. Jesus said in John 7:37-39,

"If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.    (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Even though we hear these things, we read them, and quote them, the reality of these truths must penetrate our hearts before they can begin to affect our lives. Something must change in our consciousness in order for these truths to come to pass. It is one thing to know the truth but an entirely different thing to live by it. Truth is much like learning to play the piano; to become efficient at it, you must practice playing it. This is where our faith comes to life. We can believe something all our lives but it will do us no good until we begin to walk in it.

The message of the gospel of the Kingdom of God has been veiled to most of creation for over two thousand years. These are the days when God is taking the cover off, and the light of the revelation of the Kingdom of God is being revealed in its completeness. The scripture is being fulfilled, "Arise and shine, for your light is come" (Is. 60:1) and the glory of the Lord is being revealed as never before, upon and from within His people.

The gospel of the Kingdom of God is so much more than we learned in traditional Christianity. It is not a gospel of being saved from hell to go to heaven. The gospel of the Kingdom is not for after you die, but the Kingdom of Heaven is within you now. Most Christians do not realize what they inherited when they called on the name of Jesus and become born of the Spirit. Multitudes of people sit with the seed of God on the inside of them, yet they haven't found the way to enter into the presence and spirit of God within them. They do not know how to escape the corruption that is in the world; they cannot get free from the lusts of the flesh and the pride of life.

The gospel of the Kingdom of God will set you free and enable you to live godly in this present evil age. Nations will come to the brightness of the rising of the people of God in these days. The Kingdom of God will not just fall out of the sky. Jesus will not just suddenly come down and set up His Kingdom. Christ is coming, but His coming is not just an event that will happen outside of us, He will also appear in us. Paul said in 2 Thess. 1:10,

"He shall come to be glorified in His saints and to be admired in all them that believe"

Psalm 102:16 says,

"When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory"

Paul said in Col. 3:4,

"When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory"

John said in 1 John 3:2,

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

Paul did not say that we would become like Him! He said we shall be like Him!

Gods People Are Coming Together and there are three ways for us to go in these days. We can go the way of the world, the way of religious practices, or we can arise with the glorious Church of God that is coming forth clothed in majesty and honor. There are a people who have given themselves totally to be possessed by God; a people who have renounced self because of getting a glimpse of the true nature of God that abides within them. These are the days when the people of God are coming together, coming out from all those religious places where they have been scattered in the dark and cloudy day, during the falling away and the apostasy. Gods people are coming out from the tombs in which they have been imprisoned; all the old dead theological teachings and dead denominational movements. They are coming together as the people of God, a glorious Church who is laying down everything of the old self, everything of the flesh, and are beginning to walk in the reality of the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

The people of God who are experiencing the Kingdom of God are the most persecuted people on the earth, because we are not talking about being like God someday after we die. We are not talking about a theory, but we are beginning to experience and walk in the reality of the Kingdom of God being manifested within us today. The gospel of the Kingdom and the living and abiding Word of God will divide you, and separate you, and purify you, and give you a clear and proper understanding of the Kingdom of God in you, not someday, but today. The teaching commonly called The Sermon on the Mount, in Matthew 5, 6, & 7, reveals to us the nature of the people of God who have discovered the reality of the indwelling Spirit of God within them.

I do not for a moment believe that a person is saved today and instantly changed into the full nature and character of God. I also do not believe we should be saved for any length of time and not experience in some measure being transformed into His likeness and image. We should not believe the lie that we must wait until we die to be like Him. If you would die today, you would be no more like Him than you are right now. Death has no power to change you into His likeness; in fact, the Word teaches that death is an enemy. Death is not your friend.

Most of Gods people have their hope in the wrong things. Their hope is to die and go to heaven or to be raptured, and these are both false hopes. Our hope is clearly defined by the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:27, "Christ in you is the hope of Glory." Paul also said in Philippians 1:20-21,

"According to my earnest expectations and my hope, that in nothing shall I be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body . . . For to me to live is Christ."

Our hope is to see the fullness of God arise in us so that we become a habitation of God in, by, and through the Spirit. Everything that we read in the Bible is significant. Everything that is written has meaning for us. Jesus was about to begin, here in Matthew 5, to reveal the life and character of a person who lives in the Kingdom of God. He began to teach, "If you want to be in My Kingdom, if you want to rule and reign with Me, this is a picture of your life and nature.

If you want to enter the realities of the Kingdom, this is what you will seek: a character that reproduces the Sermon on the Mount. If you want to be in the Kingdom, you don't have any choice but to accept this kind of life. Now this word is not for any condemnation. There is no way the natural human life can live this way. This is the life of God that is in every believer that will come forth and totally possess you. The issue is, do you just want a "ticket to heaven" or do you want to be transformed into His image? Do you want Him to take your life and replace it with His? The choice is yours today. All it will require of you is your life in exchange for His.

The Church is waking up today and coming together despite our minor differences in understanding and we are coming together with the understanding that we are brothers and sisters in Christ and our focus is upon Jesus and His righteousness and not on how much we are able to discipline ourselves to be like Him. Our efforts are to be like Him are nothing more than self-righteousness. We will never be any more righteous than we are right now. We have been born again and Paul said in 2 Cor. 5:17-19,

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation."

This awaking of the Church is why there is such activity in the spirit world today. The evil spirits that have been around since the beginning of time are banning together to make their last stand against the people that love God and worship Him in spirit and in truth. Among these spirits of evil are two of the strongest spirits satan has in his arsenal, Ahab and Jezebel.

Ahab was an ungodly man before they married but his marriage to Jezebel, which by the way was forbidden by the Lord, Deut. 7:1-4, caused him to surpass the wickedness of the previous kings of Israel. This marriage to Jezebel was a union between God's Kingdom and the devil's, between the chosen people and the world. It was a political marriage, bringing two nations together (Israel and Sidon), even though the Lord had commanded His people not to intermarry with the heathen. Moses said in Deut. 7:1-4, (NIV)

"When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations, the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you, and when the LORD your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. "Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, they will turn your children away from following me to serve other gods, and the LORD's anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you."

That is exactly what happened. Ahab's heart was already benton evil, but his marriage to Jezebel launched him into full-blown idolatry He eventually brought trouble on Israel.

Without question Jezebel was the most wicked woman in the Bible. She was as idol-worshipping seductress who slaughtered God's prophets, terrified His servants, had her enemies assassinated, and emasculated her husband, the King of Israel. She stands as the epitome of an evil woman.

The Jezebel spirit has been given tremendous power by the distorted women's right movement. It started out to be a movement to gain equal rights for women in the work force and equal recognition for women in the business world. But it soon was taken over for the right of women to have total control of their bodies and total control over the unborn babies in their womb despite what the word of the Lord says about these things. This opened a door for the Jezebel spirit to inter in and stir up evil intentions in those who allow a door in their thinking to be infused with ungodly sexual desires, hatred, a lying spirit, an inability to discern what is truth and an actual disregard for truth.

A description of Jezebel personality in the Urban Dictionary is,

"A female who is seeking attention from and possibly plotting to use someone who is wealthy of otherwise desirable in order to gain status in society. She is often beautiful and knows it or at least thinks she is beautiful, she uses her looks to her advantage to lure in her next victim. She will do anything and will use anyone to get what she wants. She is interested in the people she's interested in purely as a status symbol and will toss them away and move on when they no longer satisfy what she wants."

Jezebel died a horrible death and was eaten by dogs almost three thousands years ago. And yet in a very real way the influence of the same demonic forces that worked through her are still being felt today in twenty-first century America.

Today, we see a massive increase of pornography and sexual temptation. We see it in the militant spirit of abortion, which is dead set against all male authority. We see it in the new fascination with sorcery and witchcraft. And we see it in the attempt to silence prophetic voices in the land. Her schemes may look a little different, but Jezebel has the same mission: to transform the spiritual fabric of the nation and turn us away from God.

Just as Jezebel was on a collision course with Jehu, the bull in-a-china-shop king of Israel, the spirit of Jezebel is on a collision course with Donald Trump, the bull-in-a-china-shop president of the United States. His presidency, for better or worse, has mobilized millions of pro-abortion, anti-male feminists who rage in the streets, calling for his death and (literally) pounding on the doors of congressional buildings in protest of his pro-life court appointees.

The battle is being waged, and Jezebel, in a sense, is back from the dead. Or perhaps the spirit of Jezebel never went away. It is true that Queen Jezebel was an imposing, dangerous figure. It's true that she decimated the prophets, that she led a nation into idolatry, that she intimidated, and that she seduced. And it's true that she did this because she was not simply operating in her own strength but was demonically empowered as well. This means these same demonic forces operating today are also dangerous, imposing, murderous, seductive, and intimidating. But they are not of God! They are not all-powerful and all wise. There is only one Lord, and His name is Jesus, and all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him. (Matt. 28:18-20)

We ought not to give Jezebel, meaning the satanic powers behind her, more credit than she deserves. I pray that you will have the discernment to recognize how dominate this spirit has become in our nation today. This spirit can be observed by watching what is happening in our nations capital. The leftist movement in the Democratic Party is consumed with this spirit and it's desire to get Donald Trump out of office. Nothing is beyond their efforts to demean our president and defame him in order to remove him from office. He has stirred up a hornets nest in the political arena. He has uncovered the corruptness that is in our nations capital.

The spirit of Jezebel is fighting back using the leftist movement of the Democratic Party and is displaying all of her lying, intimidating, hatred, seducing, and disregard for truth. She is in opposition to our president and using the media to further her attitude and her effort to deceive the American people by her constant distorting of the truth. If you have any discernment at all, you can watch this being demonstrated in our nations capital.

Even if you don't think our president, Donald Trump, is your idea of what a president of our country should be, you cannot overlook the attitude of those who oppose him. If you will be honest with yourself, you can see all the things that he has done for our nation, not only in our country, but in the world.

This is certainly a time of awaking in not only our country but in all the world. This corona virus is attacking all the world and practically shutting down all activity. Here in the USA we had a warning from God in 9/11/2001 and for a short time we united and cried out to God. However it didn't take long for us to settle back down to our old ways and once again the attack on our nations foundation was continued. When the San Francisco 49sr's quarterback, Colin Kaepernick refused to stand at the playing of our National Anthem, it started an all out assault on the flag of our country. Many other players have since joined him in a total disrespect for our flag.

The women's right movement has been distorted and our abortion of babies has reached new heights. Our morals have continued to decline. Our young people have been mislead by their teachers and we have continued to travel down the road to destruction.

These things are also happening all around the world. The Lord is once again attempting to warn us of what we are doing. Paul said in Gal. 6:7,

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption"

I encourage you to talk to the Lord about what is happening in our country and don't ask Him to do what it is our responsibility to do.
